The Commodore 64 was my very first computer while attending the University of Maryland in the early eighties. When I spotted the release of the new Commodore 64, I had to do a double take. The new Commodore 64 is being released by a group, Commodore USA, LLC, that purchased the Commodore brand.
This isn't your fathers Commodore. The original included a whopping 64 KB of RAM. The new Commodore 64 has 2 GB of RAM. It also comes with the old IBM clicky keyboard. Commodore even preserved the same bright color scheme (shades of brown and dark brown).
You can pre-order your Commodore 64 at the Commodore USA, LLC website. It comes with a Linux OS but you can install Windows if you really need to.
