Next, you need to set permissions on the files and/or folders. The most basic security is to make your files public. Select the file(s) that you want to set permissions on, click on the Actions dropdown and select Make Public. You can set permissions at the folder level in addition to individual files. In this article, we are keeping things simple. There are a number of options in terms of file and folder permissions available in Amazon S3 environment.

With the release of the beta of Identity & Access Management (IAM) from AWS, you can setup multiple users under your main Amazon AWS account.
